Delete your Besty account

This page explains how to delete your account in the Besty Parent app (operated by AWLADNA AI LTD) and what happens to your data.

Option 1: In the app

  1. Open Besty Parent and go to Account.
  2. Tap Delete account and read what will be deleted.
  3. Tap Send code. We text a 6-digit code to the phone number you sign in with.
  4. Enter the code and confirm.

Your account is locked straight away and permanently deleted 7 days later. If you change your mind, sign in again within those 7 days and tap Restore. To delete everything at once instead, sign in and tap Delete now.

Option 2: Without the app

Use the form below. We text a 6-digit code to the phone number you sign in with, so only the person who has that phone can delete the account.

Include the country code, for example +20 100 123 4567.

Your account is locked straight away and permanently deleted 7 days later. To cancel, sign in to Besty Parent within those 7 days and tap Restore.

No phone? If you own the family, use the request form and we email a one-time link to the email you confirmed in the app. Only the family owner can use the email route; anyone else without their phone can write to privacy@besty.life. We never delete an account because of an email alone.

What gets deleted

If you own the family, deleting your account deletes the whole family:

  • your account and phone number
  • the family profile and family values
  • all children's profiles
  • all conversations and transcripts
  • all memories and photos
  • all notifications and safety alerts
  • every family member's access to the family
  • your Besty devices are unlinked and reset, ready to be paired again

If you joined someone else's family (as a co-parent or caregiver), your login and phone number are deleted and you leave that family. The family's conversations stay with the family owner, without your name.

What we keep, and for how long

  • Encrypted backups: deleted data can remain in our encrypted backups for up to 35 days, then it is erased automatically. Backups are used only to recover from technical failures.
  • Purchase records: if you bought a Besty device, order and invoice records are kept for 6 years, as the law requires. They contain no conversations or children's data.
  • Device and error logs: technical logs from the app and Besty devices are kept for up to 90 days, then deleted. They are used only to fix problems and keep the service secure.
  • Anonymous usage counts: talk-time minutes counted on a Besty device stay with that device, with no link to you or your family.
